Employee Health Registered Nurse (EHN)   needed for a temp   contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Irvine, CA.

This position is supporting the start up of an employee health department where they assist with medical screenings for new and existing employees. 
--> Shifts are Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Job starts July 21st and is anticipating to run through September 24th (potential for extension).


Top Skills You Should Possess:

  • Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of California
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience as a Nurse
  • Ideally seeking those with previous experience in at least one of the following: Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care and/or Family Medicine
  • Recent clinical experience

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
  • Provide health promotion and wellness materials/information
  • Provide medical testing such as EKGs, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests
  • TB testing and immunizations
  • Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and Respirator Fit Testing (RFT)
  • Maintain employee health records for the entire facility
  • Answer phones and assist with questions

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
  • BLS certified
  • Computer savvy (including prior EMR use - Epic experience huge plus)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Immunization/titer records for MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, and Hep B series
  • (2) Step TB test or QuantiFERON Gold test within the last year
