Dynamics 365 Finance Business Analyst

D365 Finance Business Analyst
6-month contract to hire (W2 ONLY, NO C-C)
Irving, TX (Hybrid)
 
This position will work closely with the scrum team (including developers and business analysts), infrastructure team, end users, and stakeholders to maintain reliable, high-quality systems that meet business needs and adapt to new requirements. This position will require after-hours support during deployments and for critical issue resolution.
 
Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and other team members to design, test, and implement new customizations and system enhancements across Dynamics 365 Finance, with a focus on General Ledger, Accounts Payable, reporting, and data integration
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide user support and training
• Manage help desk tickets and incidents
• Work within a scrum methodology to manage user stories, with an eye to meeting all user acceptance criteria, maintaining clarity and open communication, and completing work in a timely manner
• Proactively identify business needs and opportunities for process improvements
• Create support and process documentation for maintaining configuration, understanding system processes, and troubleshooting future issues
• Advise on potential system changes and enhancements
• Support production deployments or critical incidents outside of normal business hours

                                                                             
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations in the role of functional finance consultant, business analyst, or solution architect, with a focus on Finance-related modules. Experience as a system end-user may also be considered.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles and ability to quickly grasp new business processes
• Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system issues and determine the best solutions for business needs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively and proactively with accountants/system users, team members, and stakeholders
• Expertise in the following areas of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Cash and Bank Management
  • Data Management
  • Security
  • Reporting (SSRS reports, Business Performance Analytics, Financial Reporting, data cubes, etc.)
• Experience with system configuration, designing customizations, and performing quality assurance testing for Dynamics 365 Finance
• Experience authoring design documents for customizations in Dynamics 365 Finance modules
• Experience implementing and using Power BI
• Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate
• Commitment to mastering new Microsoft product offerings and designing for the future

Estimated Min Rate: $60.00
Estimated Max Rate: $70.00
