Our Client  is redefining how people discover, book, and experience dining at the world’s best restaurants and we’re looking for an Engineering Director to help them take their platform to the next level.
You’ll lead talented engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge features for both our restaurant partners and diners, driving innovation in one of the most dynamic industries today.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams delivering large-scale, customer-facing systems.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Security, Compliance, Sales, and Account Management to deliver impactful solutions.
• Architect and oversee the development of scalable APIs, database systems, and cloud-based applications.
• Monitor, optimize, and enhance system performance and reliability.
• Drive full-lifecycle software development — from concept to delivery — ensuring best practices in design, documentation, and quality.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience (Python, Java, or modern web frameworks).
• 5+ years leading engineering teams in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
• Proven track record designing scalable APIs, relational databases (SQL/MySQL/Postgres), and microservice architectures.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire collaboration and innovation.

Bonus Points

• 10+ years in software development, including experience scaling systems at global levels.
• Proficiency with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, SQS) and tools such as Kafka, Celery, Flask, Django, MongoDB, and Supervisord.
• Exposure to payment systems, WebSockets, and DevOps environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and performance tuning (SQL optimization).
• A passion for using technology to transform hospitality experiences.

Estimated Min Rate: $161000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $230000.00
