Desktop Support Specialist

Onsite- Desktop Support Specialist needed for a  contract  opportunity with Yoh’s gaming client located in Bellevue, WA.
The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Two (2) to three (3) years supporting end users and desktops in a professional environment.
• Proficient in using technical tools such as Task Manager, ProcMon, Sysinternals, etc
• Skilled in installation and administration of operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11.
• Pay Range: $39.19 - $58.75/hr; depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building high-end workstations to help with projects.
• Responsible for imaging numerous machines simultaneously, tracking project progress and deploying new machines across the studio.
• Install workstation operating systems according to documented procedures and/or customer specific needs
• Solving computer and basic user networking issues
• Understand the Install workstation operating systems according to documented procedures and/or customer specific needs
• Provides support for MS Windows 10 and 11
• Provides hardware, software and systems support
• Use custom tools to support users and their systems
• Basic user account/computer object administration (Active Directory)
• Participate in analyzing and debugging desktop software applications

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Two (2) to three (3) years supporting end users and desktops in a professional environment.
• Proficient in using technical tools such as Task Manager, ProcMon, Sysinternals, etc
• Skilled in installation and administration of operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11.
• Competence with command line tools
• Self-driven and able to immediately contribute
• Able to learn quickly in a highly technical, fast-paced and intensive environment
• Experience in a role involving direct customer contact (internal and external customers)

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:          

• CompTIA A+ Certification
• Experience with IP networking (Subnetting, VLANS, Routing)
• Experience with batch scripting for enterprise management
• Familiarity with OS deployment tools (MDT, OSD, Fogg, etc.)
