Data Entry/Payment Processor Clerk (HYBRID) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s client working in San Antonio, TX .

  • Pay Rate: $12-16/hr
  • HYBRID schedule-onsite 4 days, remote 1 day
  • HOURS: 8am-5pm
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Inputs information from a variety of sources into a database. Must meet standards for production volume, accuracy, and completeness. Requires strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Ability to work well under various time-sensitive situations.
  • You will perform check copy requests for the following areas within USAA: P&C Claims, LIFE Company. Assist with the incoming AP Sundry refund check process.
  • This would include the following review items received, manually log the items into the excel tracker, research and send out emails requesting general ledger coding. Assist in preparing the checks for deposit.
  • As an end-user, supports internal financial and payment systems, tools, and technologies to ensure they are in working order.

Required:
  • 5+ years’ experience back-office operations processing and researching money movement disbursement payments, processing accounts payable invoices and receivables transactions, and reconciling general ledger accounts.
  • Proficient knowledge of financial and accounting principles in a related industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ten-key by touch
  • Peoplesoft, SAP and/or Oracle Cloud preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience handling complex payment research requests and resolution of issues and payment exceptions.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
