This is a FTE Permanent role for  Data Engineering Services Sr Vice President

Location:  Metro Charlotte
Compensation:  $160k-$175K base + bonus + comprehensive benefits

We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Data Services to architect and deliver next-generation reference data platforms that power mission-critical functions like client onboarding, compliance, and regulatory reporting. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise strategy, lead cutting-edge cloud initiatives, and shape the future of data in financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for party and entity reference data ecosystems.
• Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS technologies for scalability and security.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing technical team, driving innovation and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with business leaders to align data strategies with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/AML and regulatory standards while maintaining data integrity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, software development, or cloud infrastructure with a focus on reference data management.
• 5+ years in leadership roles delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Expertise in AWS services (Glue, Lambda, EventBridge, S3, RDS/Aurora, MSK/Kinesis).
• Strong experience in data mastering, identity resolution, and golden record creation.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, Aurora, Postgres, MSSQL, and other relational/cloud-native databases.
