Join our dynamic team as a Data Conversion Systems Analyst and play a critical role in supporting large-scale data migrations that impact retirement, 401(k), and defined contribution funds. Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting data conversion processes by collaborating with both internal IT teams and external business partners.
- Developing technical conversion specifications to map external records to internal system requirements.
- Contributing to the creation of conversion strategy documents with detailed technical insights.
- Mentoring team members on data loading and system support while maintaining full accountability for your work.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-conscious deliverables.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with data conversion implementation, including analysis, design, problem resolution, and planning.
- Proven experience working within the Financial Services sector, especially with retirement, 401(k), and defined contribution funds.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word, and Access.
- Familiarity with data transmission protocols such as SFTP, TSO, etc.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and system integration processes.
- Experience with investment industry operations.
- Knowledge of data transmission protocols and scripting.
- Exposure to offshore development teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields.
- Over 3 years of practical experience in data conversion roles within financial services or related industries.
- Ability to thrive under high scrutiny and pressure during migration processes.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across diverse organizational units.
- Industry certifications related to financial data, if available, are a plus.
