Job Description: Data Compliance Analyst
12+ Month Contract Role
Tempe, AZ (Hybrid 3 days a week)
 
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Compliance Analyst to support the preparation, validation, and monitoring of operational and compliance-related reports. The analyst will collaborate closely with data, trading, and operations teams to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across multiple internal and external platforms.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and validate daily operational and compliance reports in alignment with internal controls and external standards.
  • Process reporting tasks with accuracy and within tight deadlines.
  • Research and resolve reporting discrepancies, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Monitor data quality across multiple reporting systems, ensuring exceptions are identified and remediated promptly.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in operations, data management, and compliance to support reporting integrity.
  • Transaction and trade data reconciliation
  • Account information verification and exception management
  • Oversight of automated reporting feeds and data submissions
 
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in data reporting, operations, or compliance-related roles within a financial services or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel(VLOOKUP, countifs, pivot tables).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with SQL and database querying.
  • Background in finance, accounting, or data operations.

Estimated Min Rate: $17.00
Estimated Max Rate: $24.00
