What You’ll Do:
- Define and implement next-generation data platform infrastructure aligned with business needs and scalability goals.
- Collaborate with business units to develop resilient, cloud-based data ecosystem architecture, standards, and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend modern data tools and technologies, including streaming, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Mentor data engineers and analysts, fostering innovation and adherence to enterprise data standards.
- Partner with enterprise architects to ensure architecture remains cutting-edge and compliant with industry standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in data solution architecture, design, and delivery.
- Extensive expertise in relational, NoSQL, data lake, data warehouse, and streaming platforms such as Kafka.
- Proven ability to architect scalable distributed systems using modern data architecture techniques.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data technologies (AWS preferred), data management standards, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in evaluating, prototyping, and implementing emerging data technologies.
- Experience with data modeling (OLAP/OLTP), data movement logic in Python, and enterprise data governance.
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence across teams and facilitate strategic discussions.
- Experience working within Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
- Support experience with AI/ML teams.
- Familiarity with data platforms supporting advanced analytics and BI.
- Experience supporting shared services environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology-related discipline.
- Qualified candidates will bring a proven track record of architecting enterprise-scale data solutions in complex environments.
- Cloud certification and experience with streaming and MDM technologies will enhance your candidacy.
