About the Role

As a Temp Coordinator in SyncShop, you’ll work at the crossroads of music and visual storytelling. Our team places Sony’s iconic recordings into every type of visual media—from TV and film to trailers, promos, and beyond.

In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and creative support to the Film & Television sync team on the West Coast. You’ll help manage the workflow that allows our team to secure sync placements and champion Sony’s repertoire. If you’re passionate about music, plugged into what’s happening across media, and energized by fast-paced coordination, we’d love to have you on the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Enter and track all relevant details for a high volume of TV/Film music clearances in our database, ensuring accuracy from deal initiation through completion.
  • Support pitching efforts by assembling playlists, identifying label priorities, building presentations, editing highlight reels, and tracking pitches/projects.
  • Provide audio assets, label copy, credits, and ownership details to internal teams and external partners in a proactive and detail-oriented manner.
  • Help the team operate smoothly by assisting with scheduling, email blasts, tech requests, and other administrative needs.
  • Collaborate with fellow coordinators on broader departmental responsibilities, including managing the general Sync inbox, assembling weekly sync highlights, and supporting ad hoc projects.

Who You Are

  • You’re passionate about the music and media industries and have demonstrated that interest through internships, coursework, projects, or prior roles.
  • You have some experience (or exposure) in music supervision or music licensing and want to deepen your understanding of how deals come together from start to finish.
  • You are the “go-to” person for music in your circles and love discovering new releases, films, and series.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re curious, eager to grow, and excited about taking on new responsibilities.
