Coordinator, Sync Licensing, needed a contract opportunity with Yoh’s entertainment client located in New York City.
 
Position Overview
Duration: 3+ Months (Initial contract)
Location: New York City 10010
Schedule: Onsite 4x per week
Pay Rate:$26 per hour (Max)
 
Position overview

  • This position will provide support to the SVP, Sync Licensing; VP, Commercial Sync Licensing; and the Commercial Sync Licensing (Music for Ads & Brands) department.
 
What You’ll Do:
  • Support the efforts of the Sync Licensing team across both clearance and creative work.
  • Organize audio and playlists for pitches to commercial, film and TV licensing opportunities.
  • Maintain our database of licensing requests.
  • Conduct research on rights and restrictions for our catalog of recordings.
  • Track and follow up on quotes and pending requests.
  • Create and send various marketing materials (such as event invitations and new music releases) to external clients.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications.
  • Maintain our footage archive of film, TV and commercial sync placements
  • Manage selected incoming clearance requests.
  • Liaise across all business units and handle various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Assist with setup of showcases and events.
 
Who You Are:
  • 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Solid understanding of music licensing is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication, and time management skills as well as the ability to prioritize, multitask, and focus while working under stressful and demanding situations.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude while working with multiple departments and outside contacts.
  • The use of discretion and the maintenance of high levels of confidentiality are absolutely required.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve a variety of problems.
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, audio file management, and typical office equipment.


Estimated Min Rate: $25.00
Estimated Max Rate: $26.00
