Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager / Clinical Study Lead
to oversee the planning and execution of early-phase oncology clinical trials. This individual will provide operational leadership across all aspects of study conduct; ensuring trials are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with regulatory and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional study teams in the day-to-day execution of clinical trials from start-up through close-out.
- Manage site and vendor oversight, including CROs, laboratories, and other clinical service providers.
- Participate in RFP processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations; monitor study budgets and financial forecasts.
- Review and contribute to essential study documentation including protocols, informed consent forms, case report forms, and operational plans.
- Oversee site performance, enrollment progress, data quality, and key performance metrics; identify and resolve operational issues proactively.
- Conduct or oversee clinical data review, query management, and listings reconciliation.
- Drive risk identification and implement mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to timelines and quality deliverables.
- Support inspection readiness and participate in internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Clinical Science, Regulatory, Data Management, and Biostatistics to ensure cohesive trial execution.
- Provide training and operational guidance to study sites, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of clinical systems (e.g., CTMS, EDC, IRT).
- Occasional travel may be required for investigator meetings or site visits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline required.
- 6–10 years of clinical operations experience, with a strong focus on oncology and early-phase clinical trials.
- Proven experience managing CROs, vendors, and global study teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and global regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving with minimal supervision.
Estimated Min Rate: $140000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $200000.00
