Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Contract Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA)
to support clinical operations across early-phase oncology studies. This position plays a key role in the execution and coordination of clinical trials by managing study documentation, supporting site activities, and maintaining essential trial files.
The CTA will work closely with internal clinical teams and external partners (CROs, sites, and vendors) to ensure the smooth operational delivery of clinical programs. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic clinical operations team and contribute to life-changing oncology research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, organization, distribution, and archiving of essential clinical trial documents in the Trial Master File (TMF).
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of clinical study materials such as site training documents, regulatory binders, investigator meeting resources, and other study tools.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments of clinical trial materials to and from study sites, CRAs, and vendors.
- Track and manage regulatory documents including 1572s, investigator CVs, and financial disclosures to ensure readiness for study drug release.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and on-site support of investigator meetings.
- Communicate with clinical sites, CROs, vendors, and CRAs to facilitate collection of essential documents and support site start-up, conduct, and close-out activities.
- Maintain tracking logs for training records, site documents, and overall study progress; generate status reports as needed.
- Route study-related documents for review and approval and maintain version control.
- Organize and schedule study team meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes, and track action items.
- Contribute to additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Clinical Operations team.
- BS/BA degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a clinical research or biotech/pharma setting; site-level experience (e.g., Clinical Research Coordinator) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of clinical trial documentation and GCP standards.
- Proactive, self-directed, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with SmartSheet is a plus.
