cGMP Production Operator

Job Title:  cGMP Manufacturing Technician (Contract-to-Hire)
Location:  Lombard, Illinois
Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift:  6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift:  2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift:  10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  ( Overtime may be required )
  Pay Rate:  $20.00 – $24.00/hour

Position Summary
Join a world-leading manufacturer of  Medical Diagnostic Devices  as a  Manufacturing Technician. This  contract-to-hire  opportunity offers hands-on experience in a cGMP-compliant environment, supporting the production of Medical Diagnostic Devices. You’ll operate and maintain specialized equipment used in the filling and plating of media plates, bottles, and tubes.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, inspect, and clean bottling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Production batches and maintain documentation
• May work in controlled cleanroom environments.
• Prepare equipment for batch processing timelines.
• Conduct calibrations and verifications of filling and packaging machinery.
• Follow aseptic techniques for product quality & safety.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization of production areas.
• Assist in reviewing and updating Manufacturing Directions and SOPs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and plant procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a regulated production or operations environment.
• Familiarity with FDA and/or GMP regulations is a plus.
• Demonstrate job competency within 90 days.

Additional Requirements

• Must perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Able to climb stairs and operate motorized pallet jacks.
• Comfortable handling chemicals, antibiotics, and hazardous materials.
• May be exposed to strong odors during operations.
• Must wear required PPE, including hairnet, beard cover, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves, PAPR, face mask, and lab coat.
• No makeup or jewelry permitted in designated areas.

Estimated Min Rate: $21.00
Estimated Max Rate: $24.00
