The clinic is located at a busy manufacturing facility and they offer primary and preventative care for employees (seeing about 16-22 patients per day). Primarily back office duties.
--> SHIFTS: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Mondays may be adjusted to 10:00am to 7:00pm.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA)
- Must be comfortable with blood draws/labs
- Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player
- Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee who can work autonomously as well as a team
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Room patients and vitals
- POC testing and immunizations/injections
- Assist with medical testing such as: EKGs, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, respiratory treatments, and urine collection/testing
- Maintain employee health records (using EPIC)
- Assist with physicals, sick visits, and well-woman exams
- Medication reconciliation
- Assist with prior authorizations
- Support the Nurses and providers with all aspects of the clinic
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BLS/CPR certified (hands on courses only - online only not accepted)
- Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFERON Gold test
- Recent EPIC experience
- Must have great customer service skills as this is a very fast-paced clinic that requires multi-tasking and strong organization
