Certified Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant  needed for a full-time  temp-to-hire   contract opportunity with Yoh’s well-known occupational health client located in Frisco, TX.  
 
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 7:30 am-5:00 pm
Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 am-3:30 pm

Top Skills You Should Possess:  

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred
• Strong venipuncture skills required
• Experience with point-of-care testing and ECG administration
• Prior experience in occupational health is a plus
• Training or certification in urine drug screening and breath alcohol testing is highly desirable
• Willingness to train in audiometry and spirometry
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

 
What You’ll Be Doing: :  

• Perform point-of-care lab testing and electrocardiograms (ECGs)
• Conduct venipuncture and specimen collection with proficiency
• Assist with urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing (preferred)
• Willingness to learn and perform audiograms, spirometry, and other occupational health assessments
• Accurately document patient information and procedures in Epic EMR
• Support clinical staff with patient intake, vitals, and follow-up care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
