Certified Medical Assistant

Certified Medical Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Hurst, TX.

Contract:  Dates: 6/16-8/25

Schedule:
Monday – Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Top Skills Should You Possess:

• Excellent venipuncture skills
• 2+ years of clinical experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Obtain Vital Signs (VS):  Accurately measure and record patients’ temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, height, and weight.
• Phlebotomy:  Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws following proper protocols to ensure patient safety and sample integrity.
• Rooming Patients:  Escort patients to exam rooms, verify patient information, and prepare them for provider evaluation by gathering relevant medical history and chief complaints.
• Chaperoning Exams:  Assist and chaperone during well-woman exams, ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Ear Lavage:  Perform ear irrigation procedures to remove cerumen impaction under provider guidance.
• Administering Immunizations:  Prepare and administer vaccines according to immunization schedules and document appropriately.
• Electronic Charting (EPIC):  Document all patient interactions, procedures, and clinical data accurately in the EPIC electronic health record system.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• CPR certification required
• Medical Assistant Certificate
