Certified Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant  needed for a full-time, temp contract opportunity with Yoh’s occupational health clinic client located in Kansas City, MO.

This job is located at a clinic that offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees of a corporate office. You'll be assisting the healthcare team with covering both front and back office until at least March 6th with potential extension.
--> SHIFTS: Monday-Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm (with a 30 minute lunch)

 
Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA)
• Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player
• Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Greet patients and check them in/out
• Phlebotomy and EKGs
• Answer phones and schedule follow-up appointments
• Maintain employee health records (using EPIC)
• Room patients, vitals, and medication/allergy review

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• BLS/CPR certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted)
• Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFERON Gold test
• Must be confident with front and back office responsibilities
• Strong organizational skills and good at multi-tasking
