Certified Medical Assistant

Certified Medical Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Kirkland, WA

Top Skills Should You Possess:

• At least one (1) year of CMA experience in Primary Care or Occupational Medicine; previous experience in Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or Family Practice setting a plus
• Excellent Phlebotomy Experience required
• Ability to support two clinics Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Fremont (Mondays and Wednesdays) and Kirkland Urban (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Room patients, intake, measure vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and record information on patients' charts 
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination 
• Clean and sterilize instruments 
• Perform Phlebotomy on patients aged 18+
• Running point-of-care tests including (Flu/COVID, Strep, Urinalysis, etc.)
• Inventory and order medical supplies and materials 
• Give injections or treatments and perform routine laboratory tests 
• Schedule appointments and make follow up phone calls to patients 
• Perform administrative tasks, complete appropriate client company and OSHA-regulated forms, and provide assistance at front desk 
• Key data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records 
• May require other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• High school diploma or GED
• MA certification required – CMA
• Current BLS certification
• At least one (1) year of experience in Primary Care or Occupational Medicine; previous experience in Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or Family Practice setting a plus
• Phlebotomy Experience required
• Previous experience with injections, drug testing, and audiometry testing a plus
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications strongly preferred
• EPIC Experience a strong plus
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude, high energy, self-starter and independent thinker
