C7941-US1 - Manufacturing Technician 1 (Contractor) - US1

Manufacturing Technician – 1st shift needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific’s client located in San Diego, CA.
 
This position will be for a major biotech company and is suitable for someone with a biology or chemistry background preferred.
 
Shift:(Monday-Friday) 6 am – 2:30 pm.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Performing a wide variety of assigned manufacturing tasks to produce high quality products
• Performing work order processing to complete products to inventory
• Perform various operations using MS XP operating systems
• Perform product quality control procedures, including inspection, data collection, and escalation of defects
• Record production data on controlled forms, following current GDP as defined by the quality system
• Verification of production equipment including equipment status, calibration, preventative maintenance and operator maintenance requirements
• Making processing decisions based on interpreting quality data
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, carrying out aspects of the assigned production process
• Performing final product QC procedures Analyzing date
• Performing kitting and other packaging functions
• Mixing, storing and disposing of chemical solutions (may include hazardous material), final inspection and packaging

 
Qualifications

• Excellent familiarity with standard laboratory practices
• Communicate well with supervisor and other employees
• Experience with SOPs, travelers, ECOs, and GMP is a plus
