C++ Consultant

We're looking for a C++ Consultant to join our team.  

You'll design, build, and maintain high-performance, multithreaded C++ applications that interact with custom hardware in a distributed environment.
This role requires strong collaboration, a solid work ethic, and the ability to quickly grasp complex systems related to financial market data.

Requirements:

1. BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
2. 7+ years of C++ development with multithreading
3. 3+ years of object-oriented design experience
4. Proficient in design patterns and Linux development tools
5. Skilled in debugging, profiling, and memory analysis

Preferred:

1. MS/PhD and 10+ years of C++ experience
2. Background in real-time or low latency systems
3. Agile and Test-Driven Development experience
4. Familiarity with financial market data and C++ 11
5. Ability to mentor others in modern C++ and design patterns

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and optimize ultra-low latency market data processing software
2. Refactor and test existing codebases
3. Collaborate across teams on strategic projects
4. Automate testing, packaging, and deployment processes

Estimated Min Rate: $60.00
Estimated Max Rate: $85.00
