Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst with experience in SQL queries to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between various internal teams, gather and document requirements, manage the backlog using DevOps tools, and possess a strong background in testing and troubleshooting. This role also involves providing production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Liaison Role:
Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and requirements.
- Backlog Management:
Utilize DevOps tools to manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of features and bug fixes.
- SQL Queries:
Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data as needed for various projects.
- Testing and Troubleshooting:
Conduct thorough testing of new features and bug fixes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Production Support:
Provide ongoing support for production systems, including monitoring, issue resolution, and performance optimization.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL queries, experience with DevOps tools, and a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Testing Skills:
Experience in testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in production support and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or related fields.
