What You'll Do:
- Lead requirement elicitation sessions, translating business needs into clear, actionable documentation for settlement systems supporting Client's Wholesale Electric Markets.
- Develop and maintain detailed process flows, use cases, data mappings, and settlement logic, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and business objectives.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of system changes, helping drive accuracy and operational excellence in high-stakes financial environments.
- Support documentation efforts, including as-is process analysis, departmental guides, and system dependencies, to foster understanding and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business units and technical staff, to prioritize tasks, manage changes, and optimize process efficiencies.
- Proven experience in developing business analysis deliverables such as requirements documents, process diagrams, use cases, and data dictionaries.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent active listening and communication skills to understand complex processes and convey requirements clearly.
- Experience with process mapping tools like Visio or equivalent solutions.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
- Skilled in documentation best practices with version control and requirement traceability.
- Experience with energy markets (ISO/RTOs like PJM, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, ERCOT, CAISO) or financial trading/clearing environments.
- Familiarity with settlement or billing systems.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation management.
- Business analysis certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent.
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience working on projects within energy markets or financial systems, ideally supporting high-value settlement operations.
- Hybrid work environment with attendance at the office 1 day per week (Wednesdays).-Audubon PA
- Previous experience working with cross-functional teams and navigating complex regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
- 24 MONTHS CONTRACT W2- potential extension
- $54.61 to $66.37 hourly
