Brand Partnerships (Temp) – Epic Records



Location:  Culver City, CA (Onsite)

Duration:  6+ months, with potential for full time conversion 

Compensation:  Up to $50/hr (commensurate with experience)

Eligibility:  Must have the legal right to work in the United States


Epic Records is seeking a dynamic, detail driven Brand Partnerships professional to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is open to candidates ranging from Manager  to Director  level. The ideal hire is someone who can confidently support high level partnership initiatives while also rolling up their sleeves to manage essential administrative and operational needs of the department. This is an opportunity to work closely with the SVP of Brand Partnerships and play a meaningful role in shaping innovative collaborations between artists and brands. Individuals who excel in this role have historically grown into long term, high impact careers within the industry.


What You’ll Do


Brand Partnerships & Deal Development

(Scope will scale based on level of experience)

  • Support or lead (depending on level) the development and execution of brand partnerships for priority and developing artists.
  • Drive or assist in driving revenue generating opportunities through strategic outreach, pitching, and deal closing (especially across video product placements and event sponsorships).
  • Build, maintain, and expand a robust database of brand, agency, and marketing contacts across industries.
  • Track all outreach, client engagement, and partnership development activity with accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in or co-lead weekly partnership pipeline meetings and prepare clear activity summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Marketing, A&R, PR, Digital, Creative, and other teams to ensure seamless delivery of partnership assets and campaign elements.
  • Develop compelling pitch materials, one?sheets, and partnership decks using Canva and/or PowerPoint.


Project Coordination & Department Support

  • Create and update artist calendars, timelines, schedules, pitch decks, and marketing plans.
  • Assist with invoicing, budget management, promotional trip planning, travel coordination, work orders, and other operational needs for assigned artists.
  • Navigate, build, and maintain Excel spreadsheets for budgets, reporting, and deal tracking.
  • Track budgets and support general accounting tasks.
  • Organize and maintain department files, content archives, deliverables, and shared assets.
  • Ensure all administrative workflows run smoothly, supporting the SVP and broader team as needed.
  • Translate creative ideas into clear, budget?aligned partnership proposals.

Core Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for music, entertainment, and youth culture.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and proactivity.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a talent for design/storytelling through deck presentations.
  • Strong general accounting abilities and comfort working with budgets.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Advanced Canva skills; Photoshop experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social platforms, DSPs, digital marketing, gaming, and AI trends.
  • Willingness to learn new systems including Chartmetric and proprietary Sony Music analytics tools.
  • CRM experience and strong data entry skills are a plus.

Level Based Expectations

  • Manager:  Able to manage portions of the deal pipeline independently; contributes to pitching, outreach, and partner management; handles complex project coordination while supporting deal flow and department operations. Strong administrative and organizational skills; eager to expand experience in brand partnerships. 
  • Director:  Proven closer and revenue driver; leads partnership strategy and light negotiations; manages high?level brand relationships; drives major initiatives as well as general operations and admin.





Estimated Min Rate: $35.00
Estimated Max Rate: $50.00
