Benefits Specialist  needed for a full-time, temp 3 month contract  opportunity with Yoh’s well-known health center client located in Fremont, CA.

Temporarily seeking extra support while going through department changes and a Workday implementation.

Shifts are onsite, Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm. Looking for those that can start ASAP and work at least 90 days (potential for extension).


Top Skills You Should Possess:

  • Minimum (2) years' benefits administration experience
  • Prior experience working in the healthcare industry highly preferred
  • Proficiency with computers including MS Office products
  • Organized, timeline focused, problem solving abilities, and high attention to detail

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Manage employee benefits program including the inbox and responding to inquiries related to open enrollment and post-enrollment transitions
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee questions and coordinating open enrollment
  • Perform administrative tasks such as tracking, documentation, and data entry
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets
  • Navigate and utilize ADP for benefits-related tasks

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
  • Computer skills with previous experience using Workday (open enrollment familiarity even better)
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to teach and counsel staff
  • Must be able to provide full hospital clearance and/or be open to obtaining upon being hired: proof of immunity for MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, Flu vaccine, plus yearly TB Test or QuantiFERON Gold
