Backend Software Engineer – Python/C++ & API Development
We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer with strong experience in Python, C++, and API development to build and maintain scalable backend systems. You’ll work across services, infrastructure, and data pipelines to support high-performance applications.

Scope:
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs (REST or gRPC).
• Write reliable, efficient code in Python and C++.
• Google experience required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver backend features.
• Work with databases, messaging systems, and internal tools.
• Contribute to design reviews, code quality, and system performance.

Required:
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Google experience required.
• Experience building APIs and backend systems.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases.
• Strong debugging and system design skills.

Pluses:
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub).
• Cloud experience (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Performance optimization or systems-level work.



Estimated Min Rate: $50.00
Estimated Max Rate: $80.00 +/hr. Depends on experience
