Summary:
Yoh has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Solidity Engineer with a strong background in Quantitative Finance to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in smart contract development and a solid understanding of complex financial instruments such as derivatives, swaps, and collateralized lending. This role is ideal for someone passionate about applying decentralized technologies to institutional-grade financial systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts for advanced financial applications.
- Model and implement complex financial processes including derivatives, lending, and collateral management.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate smart contracts into web-based platforms.
- Develop cross-chain interoperability and support smart contract deployment across multiple Layer 1 blockchains.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure quality, security, and performance.
- Maintain and enhance existing smart contracts to meet evolving business needs.
- Stay current with blockchain advancements and proactively address potential security threats.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture.
- Provide blockchain expertise to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live smart contract environments.
- Continuously monitor developments in the blockchain ecosystem and adapt solutions accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related STEM field.
- 7+ years of software development experience, with a focus on Solidity and smart contract engineering.
- Prior experience in both Quantitative Finance and blockchain development is essential.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments and systems, particularly in trading, lending, and derivatives.
- Deep knowledge of blockchain security practices and common vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency with development tools such as Hardhat and Foundry.
- Experience using Solidity security testing tools like Slither and Mythril.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and software development best practices.
- Experience in DeFi infrastructure, including risk management and compliance, is a plus.
- Advanced degree in a relevant STEM discipline is preferred.
