OTA Test Engineer
Looking for a solid OTA Test Engineer to support and work with our antenna/RF design engineers. This person will work independently and debug/test OTA performance of wireless communication systems including cellular (3G/LTE/5GNR), GNSS (L1/L5), WiFi (11a/b/g/n/as/ax), Bluetooth, UWB, etc. This person will need to have an understanding of radiated performance testing methodologies and be solid in operating, maintaining and calibrating anechoic chambers.

Primary Daily Scope:
• OTA system debug & testing – HW & SW debug, OTA testing to wireless standard.
• Design & execute OTA test plans based on design engineers’ request. Generate test reports & share data with the design team. Report test issues observed during testing to design engineers in a timely manner.
• Test automation implementation (antenna OTA chamber) & troubleshooting

Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in OTA Testing.
• Proficiency with Cellular(3G/LTE/5GNR)/GNSS(L1/L5)/WiFi(11a/b/g/n/ac/ax)/Bluetooth/UWB OTA testing methodology. Solid domain knowledge in antenna/RF systems, electromagnetics and wave propagation theory.
• Experienced with regulatory requirements and processes for wireless consumer devices, including FCC, PTCRB, CTIA, ETSI, TIA/EIA, etc.
• Hands-on experience in antenna testing, anechoic chambers bring up, calibration, maintenance, and the use of RF test equipment (VNA, power meter, spectrum analyzer, wireless communication station, etc.
• Good understanding of antenna chamber & system, chamber structure, system routing, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Pluses:
• Program in Matlab, Python, C++, R studio/SQL
• Experienced with RF system specification & wireless communication standards.
• Flexible to work 2nd shift and on weekends/holidays when needed.



Estimated Min Rate: $50.00
Estimated Max Rate: $60.00
