Administrative Assistant (TEMP/ONSITE) needed for a temporary contract opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s client working in Cedar Rapids, IA .

  • Pay Rate: $20-22/hr
  • ONSITE in Cedar Rapids
  • 3 month temporary contract position
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Site Administrator to support daily operations at our Cedar Rapids office. This temporary role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and staff at the office site
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings, assist with onsite meeting logistics and ordering meals
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory
  • Support onboarding activities for new hires (e.g., badge setup, workspace coordination)
  • Assist with document preparation, filing, and data entry
  • Liaise with building management and vendors for facility-related needs
  • Ensure compliance with office safety and security protocols
  • Provide general administrative support to HR, Facilities, and other departments as needed

Required:
  • Previous experience in office administration or front desk roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Professional demeanor and customer service orientation
