Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Administrative Assistant III
to support day-to-day operations and special projects. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare letters, memos, reports, and presentations using appropriate software.
- Compose correspondence and determine effective formats for charts and presentations.
- Screen phone calls and handle requests on behalf of supported personnel (as authorized).
- Schedule meetings, video conferences, and conference calls (on-site and off-site).
- Maintain electronic calendars and coordinate appointments.
- Organize and distribute daily mail; respond to requests as needed.
- Make travel arrangements through the Corporate Travel department.
- Coordinate special events such as VIP tours, award ceremonies, and conferences.
- Conduct research, run reports, and ensure data accuracy.
- Create and maintain departmental procedures and documentation.
- Support other special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of administrative experience in a corporate or technical environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Proficient in a range of administrative processes and tools.
- Completes atypical assignments with minimal supervision.
- May provide informal guidance to junior team members.
- Understands how their role integrates with broader team objectives.
- Uses sound judgment to solve problems and improve processes.
