Ad Platform Data Engineer

Ads Platform Data Engineer:

You will have the opportunity to expand your skill set and responsibilities into other aspects of the business as you learn more about the inner workings of financial services. This is a growth oriented opportunity for an individual who wants to do more than just code.
This is an individual contributor role as part of a growing team. When you don’t have the expertise to solve the task, you will have the latitude to develop the skills to design, implement, and deploy a solution. Must show initiative, request help when needed without being asked for status on deliverables.

 

• You will design algorithms to optimize our clients’ yield of checking accounts and loans. Input data streams will include:
• Real time event data from our data collection tag
• System of record data from our financial institution clients
• Click and spend data from our clients’ advertising platforms (Google, Bing, Meta, TikTok, others)
• Analytics metadata from other client systems including Google Analytics, Hubspot and Salesforce

Output data streams include:

•  Event level and aggregate metrics on systems performance
• Predictive analytics
• Reinforcement learning for ad placement

Required Skills

• Above all: your code is self-documented and readable/maintainable by others. 
• 5+ years of Python. Pyspark would be nice to have but not required. 
• Knowledge of main ad platforms, including APIs and two-way communication: Ie Google, META, Bing, TIKTOK
• Applied advertising analysis ( At least one of these required)
• Media mix modeling
• Model evaluation, optimization and reinforcement learning
• Shapley values and Markov chains
• Proficient in Python in a data engineering context

Estimated Min Rate: $87500.00
Estimated Max Rate: $125000.00
