We have a contract opportunity for a Night Shift Manufacturing Technician in Lombard Illinois. This position is approved until the end of the year with a possibility of being hired directly by the customer. The customer is a world class manufacturer of Diagnostic Medical Devices.
Pay Rate:$24.15/Hr. (Night Shift)
Shift:
10pm to 6:30am (Monday to Friday) – Some overtime needed
Could be asked to train for 1-2 weeks on 1st or 2nd Shift
1st shift Pay $21/Hr. - 2nd Shift Pay $23.10/Hr.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set-up, operate and troubleshoot various production machines for filling and high-speed packaging of Prepared Culture Media using HMI/SCADA interfaces.
- Operate a manufacturing process within cleanrooms.
- Perform equipment and component preparation tasks
- Perform calibrations and verifications of filling and packaging equipment.
- Perform ancillary cleaning and sanitization activities.
- Ensure batch documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Perform in-process and AQL inspections for batch quality.
- Provide assistance with SOPs.
- Assist with manufacturing deviation analysis, CAPA actions, and related quality concerns
- Maintain work areas in a well-organized manner in accordance with 5S standards.
- Understand and follow aseptic practices to ensure safety and quality of the products.
- Comply with all OSHA and plant specific safety policies.
- Use PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) as required to perform duties.
- Collect accurate data for reports, charts and KPI's and interpret the data to identify problems, and proceed with proper decision making.
- Assist with executing validation protocols associated with packaging equipment.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Job Requirements:
- 2 years in a regulated production/operations environment
- Operation of high speed, highly automated equipment..
- Experience in following OSHA regulations (LOTO, electrical safety, etc. Knowledge of FDA and/or GMP, cGMP regulations within production environment
- Clean Room experience
- Able and demonstrate competency in operating equipment within a 90-days.
Additional Information:
1. Ability to regularly climb stairs and operate motorized pallet jacks.
2. Exposed to and require the handling of chemicals, antibiotics, hazardous materials and strong odors
4. PPE and cGMP including hairnet, beard cover, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, gloves, PAPR, face mask and lab coat.
5. Make-up and jewelry are prohibited in some areas of Manufacturing.
6. May be asked to cross train and support other areas of production.
Estimated Min Rate: $21.00
Estimated Max Rate: $24.15
