Rate: $40.00 to $55.00/Hr.
Role Summary
This position serves as the process owner for shipping, receiving, export logistics, and documentation within a regulated electronics and manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for SAP shipping execution, SOP ownership, export documentation accuracy, inventory traceability, and compliance control for high‑value materials.
This is a hands‑on systems and process role, not a floor lead position. The successful candidate will be expected to design, enforce, audit, and defend shipping and logistics procedures in a controlled environment.
Core Responsibilities
Shipping, Export & SAP Execution
- Own end‑to‑end outbound and inbound logistics processes, with emphasis on export shipments and high‑value materials
- Execute and validate SAP shipping transactions, including:
- Delivery processing
- Goods issue confirmation
- Inventory movement and reconciliation
- Prepare, review, and approve:
- Bills of Lading
- Export and customs documentation
- Shipping labels and transaction records
- Schedule and manage export loading appointments and carrier coordination
- Track shipments, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues using documented corrective actions
- Serve as primary owner of shipping, receiving, and export SOPs
- Ensure all logistics activities follow documented procedures and compliance requirements
- Maintain full documentation traceability, audit readiness, and record retention
- Identify process gaps and proactively implement controls to prevent:
- Documentation errors
- Inventory inaccuracies
- Quality or compliance escapes
- Develop and implement process improvements to strengthen accuracy, consistency, and audit outcomes
- Oversee inventory accuracy for high‑value and controlled materials
- Manage cycle counts and discrepancy resolution using ERP data
- Ensure consumable and logistical materials are available and controlled
- Conduct logistics‑related quality checks and internal audits as required
- Support quality, compliance, and regulatory reviews related to shipping and export
- Safety is the top priority in all logistics and warehouse activities
- Proactively identify, document, and correct safety or compliance deficiencies
- Ensure alignment with internal quality systems and external regulations
- Participate in or support internal and external audits as appropriate
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–7 years of experience in:
- Shipping/logistics
- Manufacturing or regulated environments
- Direct SAP shipping transaction experience(not observational)
- Demonstrated experience owning SOPs and enforcing process compliance
- Strong documentation, analytical, and process‑control skills
- Export shipping and customs documentation experience
- Experience with regulated or audit‑driven environments
- Ability to clearly explain SAP workflows, controls, and compliance checkpoints
- Experience preventing or correcting shipping‑related quality escapes
