Core Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end switch bring-up including BSP, bootloader, device tree, ports, optics, and first traffic validation
- Develop and maintain platform software components in C/C++
- Customize and support SONiC on new hardware platforms
- Integrate switch ASIC SDKs and SAI layers
- Debug issues across Linux kernel, platform software, SDKs, and network control/data plane
- Support software validation, regression testing, and sustaining engineering efforts
- Strong experience with SONiC and network operating systems
- Hands-on BSP and embedded Linux development experience
- Proven network switch bring-up experience
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Experience with Linux kernel, drivers, and platform software
- Familiarity with switch ASIC SDKs and SAI integration
- Experience with Broadcom, NVIDIA/Mellanox, or Marvell switch platforms
- Familiarity with SwSS, syncd, orchagent, or sonic-mgmt
- Knowledge of Ethernet switching, VXLAN, EVPN, RoCE, or data center fabrics
Estimated Min Rate: $200,000/Annually
Estimated Max Rate: $250,000/Annually+ Equity
