Job Functions
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle employee and organizational information with the highest level of discretion.
- Provide guidance, support, and technical training to Human Resources Coordinators and newer team members.
- Lead HR projects and initiatives as assigned by Human Resources leadership.
- Administer the full lifecycle of employee leaves of absence.
- Administer and coordinate workers’ compensation claims.
- Respond to employee questions and provide accurate guidance regarding company policies, procedures, and HR practices.
- Support new-hire onboarding and process employee personnel changes.
- Assist with timekeeping corrections, attendance tracking, and supporting documentation for payroll processing.
- Support benefits administration, including open enrollment and processing employee enrollments and changes through applicable benefits portals.
- Assist with the preparation and administration of employee termination packages.
- Maintain HR files, records, and reporting documentation required for SOX audits.
- Provide the Corporate HR Manager with required documentation during internal and external audit processes.
- Collect and maintain new-hire demographic information, including veteran status, EEO-1 information, and location data, to support compliance reporting.
- Conduct and support personnel file audits to maintain the accuracy and integrity of employee records.
- Lead the planning and coordination of HR events and employee-related activities.
- Ensure HR activities are performed in accordance with applicable labor regulations, HIPAA requirements, wage and hour laws, and company policies.
- Perform additional duties and HR projects as assigned.
Education, Licensure and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or a certificate in Human Resource Management required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources administration experience required.
- Strong knowledge of basic labor regulations, HIPAA compliance requirements, and wage and hour laws.
- Experience administering employee leaves of absence and workers’ compensation claims.
- Experience supporting benefits administration, onboarding, payroll/timekeeping, and employee record management.
- Experience supporting HR compliance reporting and audit documentation.
- Previous experience with HRIS and payroll systems required; Paycom experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related applications.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and spelling.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently and clearly with employees and leadership.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interpret and follow HR policies, procedures, instructions, and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently resolve routine HR issues.
- Ability to quickly learn new HR processes, systems, regulations, and procedures.
- Strong resourcefulness with the ability to identify and utilize appropriate resources to resolve questions and issues.
- Typing proficiency of 50+ words per minute preferred.

- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Regularly required to communicate with employees, HR team members, and organizational leadership.
- Ability to maintain and review electronic and physical employee records and documentation.
