Senior Data Engineer
(Hybrid, Nashua, NH area)
W2 Only Required Skills:
- 5+ years of software development experience specializing in data engineering and analysis
- Strong SQL proficiency, with experience working on DB2 or related RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
- Extensive experience with data masking techniques and tools (e.g., Delphix, DATPROF, IRI FieldShield, IBM Infosphere Optim)
- Advanced Python skills for developing data pipelines, automation, and APIs (Flask, FastAPI, Django)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (RDS, S3, IAM)
- Proficiency in Unix shell scripting (bash, ksh) and scheduling/orchestration tools such as Control-M
- Knowledge of data design schema, relationships, and logical data structures
- Familiarity with ETL processes and development, especially in data transformation and transformation of PII data
- Experience with native stored procedures and complex SQL queries
- Familiarity with mainframe technologies (Cobol, CICS, JCL, VSAM) and utilities
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks, automated testing, validation, and monitoring tools
- Experience developing APIs for data exposure and integration
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, including data masking, pipeline creation, and cloud solutions
- Ability to collaborate across teams to define requirements and craft innovative solutions
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with onsite presence required every other week in Nashua, NH area.
- Willingness to continually learn new applications, technologies, and share knowledge with team members
