Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
- Lead and manage daily warehouse operations across the region to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance.
- Provide hands-on oversight of receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping functions.
- Establish clear performance expectations and drive accountability at all levels.
- Implement new processes, controls, and performance standards to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain operational KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to strengthen compliance and execution.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and reporting tools to monitor performance and identify issues.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across inventory and operational systems.
- Leverage analytics and reporting to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining documentation and ensuring adherence to policies and compliance requirements.
- Implement and monitor controls to mitigate operational and financial risk.
- Support change management initiatives, including system implementations, process redesign, and organizational transitions.
- Provide stability, structure, and leadership during periods of change, growth, or turnaround.
- Influence cross-functional teams to drive alignment and adoption of new processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse management and logistics environment.
- Experience supporting audits, inventory control, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Prior experience in a temporary, turnaround, or transitional leadership role strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience implementing operational improvements and strengthening process controls.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, and performance reporting tools.
