What You Will Be Doing
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the site’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Monitor and report quality performance metrics to site and business leadership.
- Ensure compliance with key Quality Standards(ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, acting as the primary liaison with certification bodies.
- Support multiple manufacturing sites as part of a remote QMS support team.
- Manage document control, including Quality Manual updates and controlled records.
- Lead Corrective Action investigations and verify effectiveness.
- Facilitate Management Reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deliver QMS training and maintain competency records.
- Analyze data and trends to support quality initiatives, customer satisfaction, and site performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Operations, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience working within or managing an ISO 9001:2015–certified QMS (IATF 16949 experience a plus).
- Internal or Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001(required); familiarity with IATF 16949 and AS9100D is highly desirable.
- Experience performing internal audits and managing CAPA processes.
- Solid understanding of industry standards, controls, and compliance requirements supporting manufacturing operations.
- Strong root cause analysis/ corrective action skills.
- Excellent communication skills(written and verbal).
- High attention to detail and accuracy; able to work independently or on cross?functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and systems used for document control, corrective actions, and project tracking.
