Title: Technical Project Manager
Compensation: $70-80/hr W2
Type: Contract

Work Environment: Onsite 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities
- Drive execution across Product, Engineering, Design, and Business teams, proactively identifying and resolving risks, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks before they impact outcomes.
- Bring clarity and structure to complex, cross-functional initiatives by establishing clear ownership, accountability, and decision-making processes in ambiguous environments.
- Partner closely with Engineering leadership to ensure delivery plans are realistic, sustainable, and aligned with technical capacity.
- Serve as the connective tissue across multiple teams, driving alignment, communication, and follow-through on shared commitments.
- Maintain a single, trusted source of truth for product initiatives, roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and execution status.
- Lead core planning and operating rhythms, including quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, status reporting, and ongoing execution governance.
- Continuously improve planning processes, collaboration models, and organizational transparency to support a high-performing product organization.
- Build and evolve the program management function as the organization grows, with the opportunity to mentor and potentially lead a small team.
- 7–10+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs within digital product, e-commerce, SaaS, consumer technology, or related environments.
- Demonstrated success bringing structure, accountability, and operational excellence to organizations undergoing growth or transformation.
- Strong execution mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity while introducing lightweight, scalable processes that enable rather than hinder delivery.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and experience partnering closely with engineering teams to manage delivery risk and execution planning.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
- Experience designing and implementing program management practices, operating models, and governance frameworks from the ground up.
- Proficiency with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience supporting digital commerce, retail, consumer products, media, or other customer-facing digital platforms.
- Experience working within large enterprise organizations or rapidly scaling product organizations.
- Previous experience building or maturing a Program Management Office (PMO) or Product Operations function.
