This workplace is located at a medical clinic at the airport, open to specific company employees, offering occupational, primary, and preventative care. You'll work alongside a team that provides injury prevention, case management/evaluation/treatment, general wellness, and health promotion.
--> Shifts needed: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Minimum (3) years' experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient physical therapy clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
- Prior occupational health experience highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively teach, counsel, and educate employees on topics related to healthy living
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Spend about 60 minutes with each patient to help support employees for MSK related injuries (back, shoulder, elbows, etc.)
- Assist in prevention and treatment of work-related injuries, ergonomics coaching, job site evaluations, health promotion, general wellness, and fitness programs promotion
- Case management and counseling the patient population
- Work closely with stakeholders including safety officers, ergonomists, human resources, and other vendors to promote employee safety in the workplace
- Lead educational initiatives surrounding injury prevention, well-being, and other topics; develop and administer injury prevention and health promotion presentations, workshops, or other programming for employees
- Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms and reports
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Licensure with the State of Colorado as a Physical Therapist
- CPR/BLS certified
- Yearly TB test or QuantiFERON Gold
- Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace
