In this role, you'll be at the forefront of database administration and engineering, focusing on Oracle technologies across diverse UNIX environments including IBM AIX, Oracle Exadata, and RedHat Linux. You'll support critical infrastructure, optimize database performance, and collaborate with developers and project teams to deliver seamless solutions. Job Details
Duration: 12 months contract initial contract, potential extension - W2
Start date: July 2026
Location: Hybrid 2x a week onsite Audubon
Hourly pay rate: : $56.34- $77.46
** Client is not able to do sponsorship of visa or C2C**
Required Skills:
- Proven experience managing on-premises Oracle databases on UNIX platforms (IBM AIX, RedHat Linux)
- Expertise in Oracle OEM monitoring, Data Guard, and RAC configurations
- Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, database tuning, and query optimization
- Familiarity with automation/configuration tools such as Puppet, Ansible
- Hands-on experience with containerization and Oracle’s pluggable database infrastructure
- Knowledge of backup and recovery tools like Cohesity and Spectrum Protect
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively collaborate across teams
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS/SSRS tools
- Familiarity with Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting
- Prior work with Oracle Exadata solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Several years of relevant experience working with Oracle databases in UNIX/Linux environments
- Oracle certifications are a plus
