Pay Rate: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
Status: New Headcount About the Role This is a hands-on manufacturing process improvement role supporting production operations through continuous improvement, lean initiatives, and value stream optimization. This position is above entry-level technician and below Manufacturing Engineer, ideal for candidates who enjoy driving operational improvements without full engineering ownership. Key Responsibilities Primary Responsibility:
- Manage internal manufacturing line-side hardware systems.
- Lead value stream optimization initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and service operations
- Identify and eliminate waste while improving process flow using Lean methodologies
- Facilitate Lean Six Sigma tools including Kaizen events, 8D problem solving, and Green Belt-level projects
- Drive measurable improvements tied to operational KPIs
- Participate in current-state and future-state process assessments using value stream mapping
- Apply basic project management skills to track actions and results
- Lead cross-functional teams during improvement initiatives and manage stakeholder relationships
- Support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement culture
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement environments
- Hands-on experience with continuous improvement, Lean, or CI methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to influence change without direct supervisory authority
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams
- Comfort working with moderate guidance and direction
