- Registered Nurse
The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) is responsible for providing Occupational Health Services (OHS) in a comprehensive occupational health program. In this position the occupational health nurse must provide clinical, case management and administrative services.
- Provide clinical services that may include phlebotomy, surveillance testing, and injury/illness care.
- Order supplies and equipment needed for occupational health services, including clinical care, surveillance, and emergency response.
- Maintain compliance with all local state and federal occupational health and safety policies/standards.
- Collaborate with OH teams to implement occupational health and safety policies and standing orders.
- Work with client company disability and worker’s compensation insurance providers to manage occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses and short- and long-term disability claims.
- Participate in the promotion of company-wide and site-based health and wellness programs
- Proficiently use existing OH electronic health record systems
- Active RN License
- Associate degree required
- CPR/AED certified
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong people skills
- Case management experience
- Computer skill proficiency
- Weekends and holidays off
