What You'll Do:
- Oversee daily shift operations in a 24/7 environment, ensuring optimal network performance and incident management
- Lead daily stand-ups and shift turnovers, maintaining clear communication across the team
- Monitor ticket queues, prioritize responses, and assist with complex troubleshooting or escalations
- Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with NOC analysts and operators
- Approve PTO requests, manage staffing schedules, and coordinate coverage
- Analyze network performance dashboards, identify trends, and collaborate with engineering teams on ongoing issues and planned changes
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare operational reports
- Ensure smooth handoffs between shifts and reinforce operational discipline, communication, and accountability
- 3–5 years of experience in a NOC, IT operations, or technical support role
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills including TCP/IP networking fundamentals, routing, and switching
- Experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and effective during high-pressure incidents
- Interest in developing leadership and supervisory skills
- Certifications such as CCNA, Network+ or equivalent
- Experience with automation tools or network security fundamentals
- Previous experience in a 24/7 operational environment
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience supervising or leading technical teams in fast-paced settings
- This position requires working non-standard hours, including overnight shifts and weekends, to support 24/7 operations
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness
