Position Highlights
- Pay: $35-$38 per hour based on experience
- Location: Rochester, NY (100% Onsite)
- Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Friday, flexible hours available
- Duration: 18-Month Contract
- Work with engineers on prototype and new product development
- Opportunity to influence assembly processes and manufacturing improvements
- Assemble electromechanical prototype products using written and verbal instructions
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to improve assembly practices
- Recommend process improvements that reduce cost and assembly time
- Redline assembly procedures and bills of materials as needed
- Support manufacturing engineers in developing efficient work cells
- 2+ years of electromechanical assembly experience
- Experience with hand tools including screwdrivers, torque drivers, wrenches, and pliers
- Soldering experience required
- PCBA through-hole and SMT experience is a plus
- Fabrication experience using hand drills or drill presses is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Associate degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering is a plus
