Shift: Rotating 12hr shifts, 6am - 6pm or 6pm -6am following a 2/3/2 rotation
Location: Elkton, MD
Responsibilities:
- Process includes handling chemicals, polymers, and finished products like sheets and pellets.
- Rubber and Chemicals are staged in weigh up areas using a fork truck and a hand dolly respectively.
- Rubber and Chemicals are weighed per work to make batches.
- Rubber is weighed in pounds.
- Chemicals are weighed in grams. Air Hoods are required for weighing some chemicals.
- Operating mixers
- Batches are discharged from the mixer and transported by sled to be formed in to Sheets or Pellets.
- Sheets are cooled through a Ross Cooler, manually wrapped, weighed, placed on a conveyor and aut01naticaIly boxed.
- They are manually taped and then are palletized using a box lifter.
- Pellets are piped through the floor, cooled, screened, blended, and packed in 1 1 lb. bags or 27 lb. bags via a packing station. This is a manned station.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crouch, lift, and climb.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and physical
- Position will require you to wear a supplied air hood, pulmonary physical test will be performed.
