Lead Materials Program Manager (MPM) – International Supply Chain Support
We are seeking a Lead Materials Program Manager to support global supply chain and materials planning operations for an autonomous vehicle company. This role combines hands-on individual contributor responsibilities with cross-regional leadership and oversight of other Materials Program Managers supporting international programs.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in materials planning, manual MRP processes, supplier coordination, and inventory management across electronics, mechanical, and automotive components. This person should be highly operational, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading distributed teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Scope:
• Lead and support global Materials Program Management activities across multiple regions and programs.
• Provide guidance, coordination, and oversight to international MPM teams while also supporting day-to-day planning activities as an individual contributor.
• Own and manage Clear-To-Build (CTB) / shortage reporting processes used to support production readiness and manufacturing execution.
• Perform manual demand planning, production planning, and manual MRP activities using Excel and Google Sheets.
• Analyze manufacturing build plans against inventory and supply chain data to determine material demand and replenishment needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, issue POs, and manage delivery schedules.
• Drive inventory accuracy and support BOM management activities.
• Track and mitigate excess and obsolete inventory risks.
• Partner cross-functionally with sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure material readiness and supply continuity.

Required:
• Strong experience managing Clear-To-Build (CTB), shortage reporting, or manual MRP processes.
• Experience leading or coordinating distributed/global MPM or supply chain teams.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, including complex formulas, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Strong experience in manual demand planning and production planning environments.
• Background as a Materials Program Manager, Buyer/Planner, Materials Planner, or similar supply chain role.
• Strong understanding of BOMs, inventory management, and supply planning workflows.
• Knowledge of MRP functionality and manufacturing supply chain operations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

Pluses:
• Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
• Experience supporting automotive, electronics, or hardware manufacturing environments.



Estimated Min Rate: $50.00
Estimated Max Rate: $60.00/hr. Depends on work experience.
