We’re seeking a Lead iOS Developer to design, build, and lead delivery of commercial-grade iOS applications in a consumer banking environment. This role combines hands-on iOS engineering (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit) with Agile leadership, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll help shape iOS architecture, champion quality and UX best practices, and drive dependable releases through modern CI/CD.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of production iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Own and evolve the iOS architecture (maintainability, scalability, performance, security, testing strategy, and coding standards).
- Partner with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver features for consumer banking, including account management and customer onboarding flows.
- Drive Agile execution: lead/mentor engineers, support planning and refinement, and remove delivery blockers.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and appropriate third-party libraries, ensuring stability, observability, and secure data handling.
- Champion mobile UI/UX best practices (accessibility, responsiveness, consistency, usability) to create intuitive, engaging experiences.
- Implement and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for iOS builds, automated testing, and release management.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, translating technical decisions into business impact and influencing outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex, commercial-grade software systems.
- 4+ years leading Agile teams (team lead/tech lead responsibilities, mentoring, and delivery ownership).
- Proficiency in Swift and strong experience with native iOS development tools/frameworks:
- SwiftUI
- UIKit
- Experience in consumer banking, specifically account management and onboarding.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Strong experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications (build automation, testing, release workflows).
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Estimated Min Rate: $126000.00
