Yoh is seeking  experienced Analog Design (High-Speed Systems) Engineers.

Location:  Irvine, CA (Onsite 5 Days/Week)
Type:  Full Time 
Compensation:  $200,000 - $250,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop analog circuit blocks, systems, and subsystems using both behavioral modeling and transistor-level design methodologies.
  • Architect and optimize circuit solutions to meet demanding specifications related to noise, distortion, power efficiency, and cost.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and contribute to project ownership and execution.
  • Create or supervise the development of custom physical layouts for integrated circuits.
  • Partner with hardware teams to define external component requirements for circuit integration.
  • Establish interface specifications between analog and digital domains within the chip.
  • Evaluate and refine package pin configurations and coordinate routing with packaging engineers.
  • Design and/or review test board schematics used for validating integrated circuit performance.
  • Perform lab-based characterization and validation of silicon performance using standard measurement equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing and characterization phases.
  • Work with test engineering teams to develop manufacturing test strategies and procedures.
  • Prepare technical documentation outlining circuit functionality and performance metrics.
Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 10+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 7+ years of experience.
  • Strong background in analog circuit design, including high-speed amplifiers operating into the hundreds of MHz range.
  • Experience designing high-speed comparators.
  • Deep understanding of CMOS technologies.
  • Familiarity with RF design principles is a plus.
  • Proficient in simulation methodologies and tools, including those used for RF analysis.
  • Solid grasp of system-level considerations such as noise, linearity, and power optimization.
  • Experience with analog and RF layout practices.
  • Exposure to analog and mixed-signal building blocks such as ADCs, DACs, voltage references, oscillators, and LDOs is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of power management circuits, including switching regulators, is preferred.
  • Ability to balance and optimize trade-offs between power, performance, and silicon area.
  • Hands-on experience with simulation, layout, verification, and parasitic extraction.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence suite).
  • Experience with system-level modeling tools such as MATLAB is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
