Required Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10+ years in software design and development
- 5+ years experience with big data solutions and data analytics
- Extensive expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (Java, Scala, Python, Node.js)
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture
- Experience with streaming/messaging technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, SQS)
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Elasticsearch)
- Proficiency in developing highly scalable distributed systems in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, Ansible)
- Ability to create and implement REST APIs and in-memory technologies
- Strong technical design, analysis skills, and ability to work with ambiguity
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM)
- Front-end experience with Angular
- Knowledge of machine learning deployment
- Familiarity with stream processing (Flink, Spark)
- Experience with data movement technologies (ETL/ELT) and in-memory tech
- Understanding of reinforcement learning models
- Experience with mission-critical application support
- Advanced degrees in a related technical field strongly preferred
- Over 10 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering and big data
- Ability to work on mostly backend systems with some front-end development (80% backend, 20% front-end)
- Willingness to stay current with emerging technologies
- Ability to adapt to evolving business priorities and technological landscape
